This tank has been mostly a collectoritis tank.  I have an unfortunate tendency to let the plants float, which means the tank is always cruddy.

April 2007  I really let this tank get bad too.  I mucked it out and redid it a few days ago.  I should have done the diatom thing--I can see an algae battle starting already.  Oh well, it keeps me busy enough to let some of the other tanks have chance to grow in.

May 2007

I should have torn this tank all the way down.  The recovery from muck is being slow progress.  This fish have collapsed the rock structure to some degree by moving gravel.  They seem to like the results of their remodeling--a pair of julidochromis have spawned on the right side of the tank.  The plans for the scape are falling apart--this is devolving back into a holding tank.
