When I first set this tank up, I used argonite for the substrate (big mistake).  It looked good initially, but caused problems over time.  It probably would have been ok if I were a fan of big water changes.

I've converted to a plain gravel substrate and cut but to using just one of the lights.  I'm using slow growers, so it will take it quite a while to fill in.
